A number of hip hop artists I listen to claim HIV\/AIDS was a bioweapon, genetically engineered by the U.S. Government to control for Malthusian Overpopulation.<\/p>\n

My quick investigation of the conspiracy theory and the scientific consensus leaves me thinking the motives behind the conspiracy theory are certainly plausible and the consensus scientific viewpoint relatively unconvincing.<\/p>\n

Obviously extraordinarily claims require extraordinary evidence, and I don’t see that, so I’m very much undecided on the issue. But I’m surprised I’ve never heard about this before.<\/p>\n

Overall the general population is far too trusting of authorities, and significantly underweights the parsimony of “Conspiracy”.<\/p>\n
