If you don’t have time to watch and feel their transmission and presence here are the key insights (from my notes):<\/p>\n

– Every human being has a longing for something. There’s a deep sense there’s something more to life.<\/p>\n

-We are chasing to fulfill a self that is empty. A self that feels inauthentic. Life is a compensation for not knowing who we are.<\/p>\n

– You are not the voice of mind you’re the one who hears it. – Michael Singer<\/p>\n

– Once you give a bird name. You no longer see the bird. Try to go through life without naming things. That brings the wonder back. You’re living in abstraction. No longer an intimate experience with life. That’s what we crave.
\nAn intimate experience with existence.<\/p>\n

– That’s what attracts us to the innocence of children. They feel the wonder of the world. They know they don’t know. Adults, we think we know. Just because we can call something a tree doesn’t mean we know what it is. Our labels can disconnect us from the intimate experience of existence.<\/p>\n

– Most people live primarily in their minds. They’re disconnected from the real experience of life and of themselves and of what they really really are. It’s a hollow dream world that’s very easy to live in.<\/p>\n

– When we realize we are more than our thoughts, it’s like waking up from our dream. All those nagging thoughts are not us. They are a veil that obscured who really are. It blocks the light from coming into our lives.<\/p>\n

– What am I before my thoughts, memories, good and bad? First thing people encounter. There’s a gap. Not a different version of you. It’s quiet. Absolutely silent. Our minds don’t know what to do with it. So we run back into mind. Into more ideas and identities, disconnected from who we really are.<\/p>\n

– Adya’s life changed when he was sitting on a bus stop and said “God\/universe…I’m willing to take anything you want to throw my way in order to awaken…I take all conditions off…I’m asking for whatever I need for my own awakening…” as soon as he said it he felt terrified. He changed his agreement with the universe, about what he was willing to endure. “I will awaken at any cost. ”<\/p>\n

– “The next 5 years were a wild ride and the most difficult moments were the most important for my spiritual unfolding.”<\/p>\n

– What do I do when I’m suffering and overwhelmed? how do I work with the minutia of my experiences and not just another episode of suffering. You have to be unconditionally open for it. And take responsibility.
\n“How have I gotten myself right here?
\nI got here choice by choice. ”<\/p>\n

– Essence has no history. Eternity knows no history.
\nIt is the eternal present. All eternity knows is this instant.<\/p>\n

– Negativity is a heavy energy field that sticks. You have great day. It feels clean and light. It’s like a breeze you can’t get a hold of it.<\/p>\n

– All negative energy is looking for resolution. It’s there because it’s looking for resolution.<\/p>\n

– Jesus was a revolutionary mystic. His willingness to speak out. He didn’t sit in cave like eastern sage. He was out amongst people. Amongst poorest of people. He wasn’t afraid to point finger at things he thought was wrong. That’s wrong. That’s not right. Abuse of position. That’s a defilement of my father, God.<\/p>\n

– Spirit doesn’t have to have a story around it. Religion is given its significance by spirit. But spirit doesn’t need founder. It’s in everything and everybody. Religion’s #1 purpose, is to help connect peopel to radiance of spirit.<\/p>\n

– Soul is our living presence. Our shared living presence. That’s where we connect, that’s where we’re the same.
\nAnything we open up to fully we will feel that radiance. That presence.<\/p>\n

– God is one infinite presence. All inclusive presence. We are surrounded by presence. And each of us are expressions of that presence.<\/p>\n

– What is prayer? Reaching out to something. God, the universe. Something beyond what we feel ourselves to be. Humble receptivity. Be really careful when you say true prayer. Ordinary prayer is done in such a way that isn’t about what we want. A deeper prayer is about what we’re willing to give.<\/p>\n

– Surrender and consent to whatever is happening. If we say yes, we have access to the center of that moment. Of its presence. Of its essence.<\/p>\n

– No matter what happens know we’re always held in divine presence. In grace. So fall into grace…<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
