Our worldview is embedded with a lot of insidious New Age beliefs that we have GOT to get rid of.<\/p>\n
Ideas to watch out for:<\/p>\n – Anytime you’re asking the “universe” for something as if it was a person.<\/p>\n – Anytime you think you can manifest something in the external world with primarily your thoughts and intention.<\/p>\n That is just magical thinking. You really don’t have that much control over you life.<\/p>\n – Astrology.<\/p>\n Astrology points to real archetypes in the subconscious, but birthdate is a terribly inaccurate classification mechanism…this is why I prefer psychological systems like the enneagram, spiral dynamics and jungian cognitive processes.<\/p>\n Overall, these are all Pre\/Trans Fallacies and inappropriate responses to the deficiencies of the cold hard rationalism of the modern era.<\/p>\n All of the above are “Pre-Rational” ideas that are misinterpreted as “Trans-Rational” ideas.<\/p>\n Trans-rational ideas, transcend and INCLUDE rationality, and adhere to all the tenets of rationality.<\/p>\n Just because I am challenging you to give up your pre-rational New Age Beliefs Creative Tribe of the Bay Area, does not mean you have to believe in a lifeless, nihilistic, mechanical world.<\/p>\n The mysteries and magicalness of consciousness, the world and the universe are very much alive on the other side.<\/p>\n I’ll show you wink emoticon<\/u><\/i><\/p>\n Sincerely,<\/p>\n Your intense, friendly iconoclast<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
