I took a nap today from 630pm to 8pm and concocted a strong energy potion for my first fully free night of SXSW. It’s 430 in the morning now and I didn’t quite find the desired settings and venues to release all of my dancing energy, so I’m not quite as tired as I expected to be. Instead I had many deep and stimulating conversations about personal life paths and its trials and tribulations, startup rocketships and startup roller coasters, interpersonal communications and overcoming fear in order to stand by fundamental personal principles and values, theses about why the innovation economy is blocked and there are so few game changing transformational companies, the lack of transparency in the startup world and how important that is going to be if we’re going to be the center of the global economy…a stimulating night indeed, that was about building interpersonal depth as much as journeying through fascinating intellectual terrain…and now I have enough energy still as my circadian candle fades, to continue to write, and share these reflections with whoever happens to be wading in my stream these days as I move on now to reflecting on the plan for my next life chapter….what I want to build, what I want to write, who I want to get to know…how much I want to explore and what size projects I want to take on before I found my next company.<\/p>\n
I like to flow with my energy…and when the tap is open and the thoughts are coming, let them keep coming. I like to myself be guided more by the unpredictable currents of my own energy than the scheduled norms of society. The whole notion of time is much more malleable and squishy than we make it out to be.<\/p>\n
Anyway, I’ll stop this different style post of mine here, and end this window into the free associative, reflective context of my mind. I will be stirring a health promoting sleep concoction very shortly.<\/p>\n
