“Are we as a Species Fucked ? For real ?<\/p>\n

Not to sound gravely pessimistic yet how many dire local and World wide issues are there to even deal with ?<\/p>\n

Really what do you think\/feel about our overwhelming societal problems ?<\/p>\n

If we get down real into the background feeling behind daily doings, does your Being feel we are doomed as a species ?<\/p>\n

\nWhatever your perspective is:<\/p>\n

The world is doomed,<\/p>\n

Or, we are living in the best time in human history.<\/p>\n

You will find evidence to support your perspective.<\/p>\n

My perspective is that we are at the best time in human history, but we are also facing more complex problems than ever before, which can feel overwhelming to many.<\/p>\n

But this is how all complex adaptive evolutionary systems work \u2014 as they grow and complexify, so do the problems they are confronted with.<\/p>\n

These are simply growing pains.<\/p>\n

Sometimes complex systems advance to a new level of coherence and sometimes they fail and take a step back, stabilize and then accelerate from that base.<\/p>\n

Some dimensions of the world are making the leap to the next level whereas others are self correcting by taking a step back.<\/p>\n

There\u2019s enough resiliency in the world system now that I don\u2019t believe we are at risk of existential collapse, although the potential for things to get pretty ugly is there.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
