A Compassionate, Non-Orwellian Surveillance State

In the future everyone will be regularly tested on the level of their developmental thinking (Cognitively, egoically, skill based in domains like music, athletics etc), their level of spiritual state-based awakening, and their level of psychological integration (psychotherapy and shadow work).

It’s not a question of whether this happens for society, but how well we can manage the enormity of this power and responsibility.

There is a teleological imperative from both the upside and downside perspective.

The Upside Perspective: People can be met right where they are in all aspects of their life, and can be given the roles most suited for the next stage of their personal evolution and flourishing.

The Downside Perspective: When anyone can 3d print a nuclear weapon, or bioengineer a deadly virus our only hope of security is detailed psychological profiling and rigorous permission systems and techno-social immune systems.

The potential for abuse of this technology is enormous and cannot be underestimated.

The people in control of this profiling technology must be some of the most evolved humans on the planet.

If we do not improve beyond the status quo of the current culture of the NSA, an Orwellian future will be our destiny.

“With great power comes great responsibility”

We’ve got a lot of evolving to do fellow humans, to be able to survive and thrive in the future that is rapidly and inevitably hurtling towards us.
